Brenda Cox
 Brenda Cox is a Consultant with EMB America LLC. Brenda has over 18 years of experience in the property and casualty actuarial profession and joined EMB America in 2004 after gaining 6 years of actuarial consulting experience with The Kilbourne Company, performing reserve analyses for all lines of property and casualty insurance. Other previous experience includes 10 years at Nationwide Insurance Company, where she held various positions while working in both an agency and a direct marketing environment. Her responsibilities at Nationwide included personal lines auto pricing, homeowners pricing, and ensuring compliance with state insurance statutes and regulations.
Brenda specializes in ratemaking and reserving analyses for alternative risk vehicles, and has considerable experience working with entities that self-insure their workers compensation exposure in California. These entities include employer groups, governmental units and individual employers.
Brenda graduated from Ohio University in 1986 with a major in Accounting, and received a Masters degree in Mathematics in 1988.
