Dave Baldwin BSc - Director

Dave Baldwin joined EMB’s Company Market Team in 2005.

Dave was previously Company Statistician for Fortis Insurance, one of the top-performing companies in the UK personal lines market, where he led company thinking on the use of statistical data and leading-edge analysis techniques in support of product pricing and financial modelling. Prior to this, Dave was Manager of Marketing Analysis for AA Insurance Services, a major panel broker.

Dave is renowned for his skills in bringing together all of the stakeholders in the pricing process, including actuaries, underwriters and marketers. Since joining EMB, Dave has managed a successful project to re-price the Commercial Property book of one of the UK’s largest insurance groups.

Dave is a Member of the Institute of Actuaries and holds a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from Exeter University.
