Lisa Pines - Global Partner
Lisa founded EMB South Africa after a ten year career at an actuarial consultancy, where she set up and developed the general insurance division. She is recognised as an industry leader in the field. Her past clients include most of the large South African insurers as well as some specialist companies.
Lisa is a regular speaker at professional conferences. She chairs the Actuarial Society of South Africa's Personal Lines Committee and is a past chair of the General Insurance Committee. She is also a member of the Financial Condition Reporting Working Party, assisting the South African regulator in the revision of solvency requirements.
