Richard Millns BA FIA - Director 

Richard is a senior consultant at EMB, specialising in financial modelling. He has a Mathematics degree from Oxford University and qualified as an actuary in 1998. His role includes the design, implementation and peer review of stochastic models. He is also regularly involved in client training in the use of Igloo and financial risk modelling concepts.

His career began in 1994 at Commercial Union, in the UK Non-Life Actuarial Department. This involved quarterly reserving, commutations work and the development of a new in-house reserving software package. In 1998, Richard joined Aon as an Associate Director of Aon Risk Consultants, where his responsibilities included the structuring and pricing of alternative risk transfer programmes. Richard joined EMB’s Cambridge office in 2001.
