Stephen Jones, FIA - Director
Stephen Jones heads EMB’s UK Marketing Analytics practice. He is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and has a degree in Mathematics from Christ Church, Oxford.
Stephen joined EMB in 2004 after an 18 year career spanning actuarial consulting and insurance company positions. Before joining EMB, Stephen managed the GI actuarial function of a major UK composite insurer for five years.
Stephen has wide-ranging experience of the actuarial, marketing and strategic aspects of general insurance business. He specialises in personal lines pricing and has written a number of papers on the subject. Stephen is heavily involved in developing price-optimisation solutions for insurance clients, and in migrating EMB’s traditional strength in leading-edge and solutions-focussed analytics into the marketing space.
