Vikas Newatia


Vikas joined EMB in January 2005 and has special responsibility for developing and managing EMB's practice in India.

In 1997, Vikas joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he worked in their non-life actuarial department.  He then moved on to the company market and joined XL Insurance, where he helped to establish their wholly owned legal entity in India.

Vikas graduated in Mathematics from King's College London and went on to study actuarial sciences at City University.  With over ten years experience in non-life insurance, his expertise is wide ranging and includes actuarial and management consultancy.
