EMB London Market 5-a-Side Football Tournament

On Thursday 7th of September EMB hosted their second annual London Market 5-a-side football tournament at Tottenham Hotspurs’ White Hart Lane stadium. This year’s tournament included teams from Ace, Argenta, Mitsui, Novae, RSA and Talbot competing alongside two EMB London Market teams.

The standard of football played was generally high and many remarked that it was an improvement on that usually displayed there on a Saturday afternoon. In a tight final, the RSA team of Martin Thompson, Rob Moore, Josep Capella, Chris Denton, Matt Potten, Andy Caswell, Darren Schlotter, Rob Saxon and Finlay Smith beat the EMB team by one goal to nil.

RSA, the new holders of the EMB cup, will be back to defend their trophy next year.
